Peters' Bakery is a San Jose institution. It's the place for everything from breakfast treats to wedding cakes. The founder, Tony Peters, was born into a poor Portuguese family in San Jose in 1907. Peter's Bakery is a hole in the wall family owned great bakery. Tony Peters has since passed on but his San Jose legacy remains. Peters Bakery, now owned and operated by two of Tony's children, is the oldest family owned bakery in the Silicon Valley. They have the best burnt almond cake in the bay area. Their prices are reasonable and service friendly.
