Well-trained staff provide safe, affordable, high-quality care so you can have peace of mind while you work. Like all Y programs, child care is open to all, with financial aid available. Staff members are partners with parents and other caregivers, working together to help kids grow up healthy, happy and strong. Programs includes Way to Grow Preschool (2.9 to 5 years): Our California state-licensed preschool program is designed to provide play-based, child-centered curriculum based on developmentally appropriate experiences. Our goal is to provide your child with a safe, caring and cheerful environment in which he or she can make friends, learn new skills and continue to develop self-esteem. Preschool is available two days per week (Tuesdays / Thursdays); three days per week (Monday / Wednesday / Friday); or five full days per week (Monday through Friday). We are a full-day program with the hours of 7:30 am-6 pm. Kids Place Licensed Child care (Grades K – 6): YMCA Kids Place school age child care is a California state-licensed program that operates on school campuses, offering a variety of age-appropriate enrichment and recreational activities. Our child care program delivers stimulating learning experiences in a safe environment that aim to enhance your child’s social, intellectual, physical and emotional development. Daily homework assistance is also provided.
