Convention Center - The Center originally opened in 1974 and an expansion, tripling the size of the facility, was completed in 1996. In 2001, a Starbuck Coffee House was built inside of the SCC, followed by the addition of a Wolfgang Pucks Eatery and Cyber Café.. A full service convention and meeting venue, the Sacramento Convention Center Complex is a component of the City of Sacramento Convention, Culture and Leisure Department. We play host to over six hundred (600) events and approximately 1,000,000 visitors annually.
